Adding Account

To begin, click the + Account button located at the top right corner of the dashboard page to initiate the process.

Four Ways to Add Your Accounts

Kanze offers multiple flexible methods to integrate your financial data. Select the appropriate method for each asset or liability to ensure precise tracking.

1. Holding (for Investments): Specifically for tracking equities like stocks and REITs.

   • Search for specific stocks or REITs you currently hold.
   • Initial coverage is for Singapore Exchange (SGX), with more exchanges coming later.
   • Track your specific number of shares and average purchase price.
   • You can easily edit your share quantities in the future as you buy or sell.

   Kanze provides automatic End of Day (EOD) pricing, so you never have to manually update stock prices.

2. Manual: For assets that require full manual entry and updates.

   • Choose from 8 primary account types, each with extensive subtypes.
   • Ensure you select the correct category (e.g., property, classic car) or liability (e.g., personal loan, mortgage) for precise tracking.
   • You will be responsible for manually updating balances and details.

3. Import: Upload a spreadsheet to bulk add multiple accounts quickly.

   • Supported file formats are .csv and .xlsx.
   • Kanze automatically attempts to map the fields for you.
   • You have the option to manually map, review, and edit any of the entries before finalizing.

   Important: You must click Validate first to ensure all fields are correct. Once validated, click Confirm Import to complete the process.
